Man, your last 6 posts have been about never posting again...

The thing I hate about Xanga is you can't reply to comments, you either reply to them on your own xanga in which case the other person would probably never see it, or you reply at their xanga, which doesn't work if their xanga is uncommentable, or they've stopped posting, like you. ;) Anyways, that's funny, I never encountered pushy salespeople in Hong Kong, and my HK friends said that it's not like China at all, they don't hound you everywhere you go. But maybe it's because we went to big malls like Telford Plaza. We didn't stay long enough in Mong Kok to experience any hounding there...just went to the computer shop, and they didn't really seem to care whether you bought stuff or not, so I couldn't even get prices down very low for a good bargain. Maybe it's because you don't look Chinese, so they take special notice of you. ;)

Hey, did you go to CUHK or HKU? And how's your Chinese now? Are you speaking Cantonese or Mandarin?

I was surprisingly sad I decided to watch Robotica instead of counting down last night...

Yeah, it is definitely a point of etiquette...flattery is something Chinese people have to be very good at. ;) Whenever my mom's friends meet me, they always have to say, "Your daughter has grown to be very beautiful!" Looks are the first thing that every Chinese parent comments on other people's kids. =P

And I still resent the fact that I can't just "reply to comment" as on LJ...but the bandwagon's over here, I guess.

anyways. i've been busy, off my ass. omg. job hunting is craaaazy. i just figured out that i past the first stage with accenture (a consultant) but it was so unexpected... i just turned in my resume and took the written test for a practice for other companies... now i have to go to a group discussion interview next week!!!!!!!! yikes. this is going to blow my ass.

my family and i are actually going to hk sometime during the spring break. they wanna go next month, but who knows, my job hunting may get busier, with more and more interviews to attned (hopefully). so we might end up going in may... but we ARE going to hk. hopefully i get to see you :) we can talk in chinese. ni hao ma. except i only konw how to speak beijinger... with lots of errrrs.
